Here are some cool facts about Mars! The sky is blue during sunset and sunrise, and butterscotch during the day.The days are similar to Earth days so we would not have to adapt that much to adapt to. There is less gravity on Mars. It is the fourth planet from the sun, so it would still be really cold, but livable. There is a lot of carbon dioxide, so plants would grow bigger and we would have more oxygen. Mars has two moons, so we would see lunar and solar eclipses more often. The moons are phobos, meaning fear, and Deimos, meaning panic. There was once water on Mars, so we believe we can find water on it again.

Mars has the largest volcano in our solar system, so we would always have a good amount of supplies, such as rocks. They have summer for 6 months, so during those months, the temperature would be nice and cool. Winter is also 6 months long on Mars, so we have built a dome around mars to protect us from the harsh conditions! A year on Mars is 678 Earth days, so we would have more days in a year, as you see in the diagram above! Astronomers looking at Mars in the 17th and 18th centuries saw signs of life everywhere, there were seas,  continents, and canals that carried water. Since we would way 38% of our weight on Mars, we could jump around to get to places. Thank you for reading these fun facts!
